Overview: This enterprise is upgrading the local cow and goats breeds to exotic breeds to create a high standard model farm in the region. There is gradual improvement in Milk production and good quality breeding bulls and heifers that are accessed by the farmers in the region. The Programme has created a model farm by following strict improved farm management practices including pasture development.
Our Goals:
The Dairy and ranching enterprises are so far realizing the following major goals:
Establishment of a self -sustaining Income generating Enterprise
To act as model farms and provide skills to empower women and youth
To create sustainable employment for women and youth in the region
To contribute towards Poverty and Nutrition problem alleviation in the region
As these projects expand the above benefits will cover a wider area and also the number of people impacted will be higher
